Will you need administrative access to our systems?
In most cases, yes, at least read-only access to review configurations properly. We'll be specific about what's needed before starting, and access is scoped to the review.
Is this the same as a penetration test?
No. A penetration test simulates an attack to see what can be broken into. An Architecture Review examines how your systems and controls are designed and configured. It's about the blueprint, not an attack simulation.
How is this different from Cybersecurity Consulting?
Consulting looks broadly at your business's risk and priorities. An Architecture Review is a focused, technical look at how your systems and controls are actually built and connected. Many clients start with Consulting and use an Architecture Review to go deeper on the technical side, though either can stand alone.
